8 spots left! The Uganda Itinerary July 20th to 31st 2024: The ultimate African adventure

Day 1 20th – Arrival at airport and transfer to Entebbe for an overnight stay after your long flight to recuperate for the adventure ahead.
Day 2 21st - Today after breakfast we embark on the most epic way to see Kampala, it's a full day Kampala boda boda city tour exploring Uganda’s capital city on motorbike with the locals. Later in the evening, transfer back to our hotel in Entebbe for overnight stay.

Day 3 22nd – Kampala to Murchison. This morning we begin our journey after breakfast to visit the Rhino Sanctuary for our rhino trekking walking safari. After, we will be transferred to Murchison Falls Park for an overnight stay.

Day 4 23rd – After breakfast we will start this morning with a game drive in the Savannah plains in Queen Elisabeth National Park. Upon return, lunch, then in the afternoon we are going on a boat cruise below the bottom of the Murchison falls. Murchison Falls Park for an overnight stay.

Day 5 24th – Today we leave Queen Elisabeth National Park and make our way to Kibale National Park. This is where we will go chimpanzee trekking bring and early tomorrow morning. Kibale National Park for overnight stay.

Day 6 25th – This morning it will be an early rise to embark on the adventure of Chimpanzee Trekking, you will hike (modest) with a guide through the wilderness to see these beautiful creatures in their natural habit then later we will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for overnight stay.

Day 7 26th – This morning we will embark on another Game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park to make best of the time we have here and in the afternoon after lunch, we will go boat cruise at Kazinga Channel. Later transfer to back to our accommodation for overnight stay Queen Elizabeth park

Day 8 27th - Today we leave Queen Elizabeth National Park and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Park and after we have arrived and checked in, we will visit the Batwa pygmies community. Bwindi Impenetrable Park for overnight stay.

Day 9 28th – This morning will be another early start but one so worth it, it is the morning you will go Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You will hike to visit the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat with guides. The hike can we tough/strenuous but there is always the option to hire a porter (for a fee) to help you navigate the rough terrine and also get a walking stick. After we will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for overnight stay.

Day 10 29th – Today is a well-deserved day of relaxing at Lake Bunyonyi. We have the full day and night at the lake to explore or just rest. Activities included for the day is a boat cruise, islands visit. Lake Bunyonyi for overnight stay.

Day 11 30th – Today we leave the lake and transfer back to Entebbe for overnight stay to relax before we fly to end the safari, we will stop at the equator experience in Kayabw along the way and have lunch. Then continue on back to our hotel in Entebbe for overnight stay

Day 12 31st - Its time our Uganda adventure comes to any end. Today you will be transferred back to Kampala/ Entebbe for your flight home.

Total cost €3300 per person sharing
Included: Trekking permits for Gorillas, Chimpanzee and Rhino treks (all permits required), all park entrance rates, government taxes, all transport and transfers, all accommodation on full board basis where mentioned, boat cruise, islands visit and canoeing at Lake Bunyonyi.
NOT included: International flights, visa for entry to Uganda (free for Irish citizens), travel insurance, meals not listed in the itinerary, any required PCR tests required, visiting the Zipline and ninja game warriors or tips
Also Yellow fever vaccination is required for Uganda.
If your happy with the itinerary and want to go ahead. A deposit of €500 will be required to secure your booking immediately, this is to secure all trekking permits.
The balance will be due 10 weeks before trip start date. (11th of May 2024). You can make the payments in instalments after the deposit is paid if that suits you.
With regards to getting a refund: The deposit is non-refundable. As the permits are non-refundable.
For the balance of your payment (€2800), I may be able to refund this up 10 weeks before the trip should you have an emergency and need to cancel. Anything closer than 10 weeks, and I cannot refund you.
I suggest you take out fully comprehensive travel-insurance that covers trip cancellations, that way should something happen, you will get a full pay out from your insurance company. Keep an eye on the excess required.
