8 spots left! The Kenya itinerary September 3rd to 12th 2023: Migration, Bush and Beach baby….

Day 1 - Arrive in Nairobi international airport and transfer to the Best Western Hotel for overnight stay to recuperate after your long flights and prepare for the adventure ahead..
Day 2 – This morning after breakfast we will be transferred to visit both the Giraffe Centre and the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage in Nairobi, optional extra, we will also visit a restaurant with a twist... Overnight in Best Western Hotel (Optional extra – Fogo Gaucho, Nairobi approx. €25 plus drinks) Meal plan: (Breakfast)
Day 3 - Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to the floor of the Rift Valley then onto the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Then we proceed to Masai Mara, arriving in the afternoon to check in, lunch and continue on for your afternoon game drive. Return for dinner and overnight stay at our Mara Camp Approx. transit time: 6 hrs.

Day 4 - Spend the day in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five - Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino and Elephant. Game drives include going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the park. All meals and overnight at the Mara Camp. (Optional extra Sunrise Hot Air Balloon (€385)

Day 5 - Another early morning game drive in the Mara, and then breakfast, upon check out we will visit a local Masai village and get a tour of their homes and way of life, then we drive back to Nairobi arriving approx. at 18:00hrs. Drop off at Best Western Hotel for overnight stay. Approx. transit time: 6 hrs.

Day 6 – After breakfast and check out, we will be transferred to Nairobi airport for our flight to Mombasa. Upon arriving in Mombasa, we will be transferred to an All-inclusive Resort in Diani Beach for some much needed relaxation time. Approx transit time to hotel approx 2hrs

Day 7- Day of leisure. You can chill by the pool bar or lounge by the beach. Its entirely up to you, all meals, snacks and local drinks are covered (beer, wine, soft drinks and cocktails) so leave your wallet in the room and take in all that the resort has to offer.

Day 8 – Same as previous day (all meals, snacks and local drinks are covered except for optional extra) Optional extra for anyone who wants to go dinner in Ali Barbour‘s Cave Restaurant. Dinner is at your own cost and not included in the days meal plan. Approx cost for 3 courses with drinks €60

Day 9 – After breakfast we will check out of our hotel and head back to Mombasa airport for our flight back to Nairobi. Transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Best Western Hotel

Day 10 – Today we end the tour and you will be dropped to the airport in time for your flight home. Airport transfer included.

Total cost €2200 per person sharing
NOT included: International flights, visa for entry to Kenya $51, Hot air balloon ride €385, travel insurance, meals not listed in the itinerary, any required PCR tests or tips (approx 6500ksh)
If your happy with the itinerary and want to go ahead. A deposit of €500 will be required to secure your booking within 5 days. The balance of €1700 will be due 10 weeks before trip start date. (30th of June 2023) You can make the payments in instalments after the deposit is paid if that suits you.
With regards to a refund: Your deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is required to book flights which are non-refundable or changeable and also the safari company requires it to book the park permits, the camp etc
For the balance of your payment €1700, the tour company can refund this up 10 weeks before the trip should you have an emergency and need to cancel. Anything closer then 10 weeks, and we cannot refund you.
We suggest you take out comprehensive travel-insurance that covers trip cancellations, that way should you have to cancel you are covered, you will get a full pay out from your insurance company. Keep an eye on the excess required.
