The Jordan Itinerary October 26th to November 1st 2025: The Jordan Explorer.

Jerash

Day 1, 26th October - Welcome to Jordan. Arrive in Amman. Queen Alia International Airport and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay to recuperate after your flights and prepare for the busy Jordan adventure ahead. In the evening we will enjoy a group dinner to get to know each other. Please note transfer is only covered for start day of tour. Meal Plan: (Welcome dinner)



Day 2, 27th October - Amman - Jerash - Amman City Tour. This morning, we will head to Jerash, one of the best preserved Roman provincial towns in the world. We will enter through Hadrian's Arch for a 2 hour guided tour. We will then travel back to Amman for tour of downtown Amman and visiting the Citadel and the Roman Theatre then transfer back to our hotel in Amman for overnight. Meal plan: (Breakfast and dinner)



Day 3, 28th October - Petra. After breakfast, we will drive to the 6th Century St George Church in Madaba to see the oldest known mosaic map of the Holy Lands. A short drive will then bring us to Mt Nebo where God permitted Moses a view of the Promised Land before he died. From the lookout see Jericho and the Dead Sea. We will then make our way on to Petra to check in to our hotel. Overnight in Petra Meal plan: (Breakfast and dinner)


Petra

Day 4, 29th October - Petra - Petra by Night. After breakfast we will head to one of the new 7 wonders of the world, Petra, go with our guide for a 2–3-hour tour of the rose-red city of Petra. Walk the mile-long Siq (chasm) passing shrines, tombs and carvings before exiting to the breathtaking sight of the Treasury. Walk the Street of Facades, passing the Roman Theatre to reach the Royal Tombs. See the Byzantine Church, Temple of the Winged Lions and Great Temple. At the museum your tour ends. Spend the rest of the day exploring more of the city or climb to the Monastery or head back to the hotel for an afternoon nap. In the evening we will go to visitor center at 8:15pm to start Petra by Night at 8:30pm. We start off by walking the entire Siq to the Treasury, lit with over 1,000 candles, once we arrive at the Treasury, there will be local Bedouins playing traditional Jordanian music. It’s such a magical experience. We stay in Petra overnight. (No extra cost - Petra by Night is included in the price) Meal plan: (Breakfast and dinner)


Wadi Rum

Day 5, 30th October - Petra - Little Petra - Wadi Rum Jeep tour – Wadi Rum camp. This morning, you will have the choice to either return to Petra to continuing exploring the ruins of the city or drive a short distance to Little Petra. Little Petra provided the accommodation and eateries for the cameleers. See rare examples of Nabataean paintings on the ceilings. A short distance and easy walk from Little Petra is the remains of a Neolithic Village which dates back to 9,000-5,500 BC. We will then transfer to the beautiful desert valley of Wadi Rum, made famous by T E Lawrence. A chance to freshen up at our bubble tent campsite before we climb into the back of 4x4 jeep's for a 2 hour desert tour. As we make our way through the canyons and across the vast tracks of red sand, see ancient inscriptions, extraordinarily coloured sand dunes and majestic mountains. Return to your camp to watch the sunset before enjoying a traditional Jordanian dinner under the stars. Overnight Wadi Rum Camp in a bubble tent. Meal plan: (Breakfast and dinner)



Dead Sea

Day 6, 31st October - Wadi Rum - Dead Sea. Highly recommend getting up for sunrise in the desert or even opening the curtains in your bubble tent. After breakfast we will continue on our drive to the Dead Sea to check-in to our hotel for your overnight stay. The rest of the day is free-time to float in the therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea or laze by a freshwater swimming pool. At 420m below sea level the Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth. Overnight stay at Dead Sea Spa Resort. Meal plan: (Breakfast and dinner)





Day 7, 1st November - Dead Sea Hotel - Airport. Time to say good bye. After breakfast, depending on your flight details, check-out from your hotel, then transfer to Queen Alia International airport for your departure flight. Airport transfer included. Meal plan: (Breakfast)

Visa & meet and assist on arrival day, airport transfer on arrival day and departure day, 6 breakfasts and 6 dinners (Half Board). All transport as per itinerary with modern air conditioned vehicle. International flights. Travel insurance. Meals not listed in the itinerary. Tips. Any extra activities and alcohol. Please note Jordan is a tipping country.


Terms and conditions & fine print:

The itinerary may be subject to small changes due to any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. Brenda may not be leading this tour. All rooms on our trips are shared, with two people per room. We’ll match you with an adventure buddy, giving you the perfect chance to make new friends! To keep things fresh, you’ll switch roommates every couple of nights and connect with someone new.


If you are satisfied with the proposed itinerary and wish to proceed, a deposit of €500 will be necessary to confirm your reservation. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable for various reasons. By making the deposit, you are agreeing to these terms. The non-refundable nature of the deposit is essential due to the immediate planning and costs associated with securing your spot on the tour. This policy also helps ensure that all participants are fully committed to the trip.


The balance of €1375 will be due 8 weeks before trip start date (31st of August 2025). You can make the payments in instalments after the deposit is paid if that suits you.


With regards to a refund: Your deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is required to book all accommodation and transportation which are non-refundable or changeable.


For the balance of your payment, I maybe able to refund this up 8 weeks before the trip should you have an emergency and need to cancel. Anything closer than 8 weeks, and I cannot refund you.


I suggest you take out comprehensive travel-insurance that covers trip cancellations, that way should you have to cancel you are covered, you will get a full pay out from your insurance company. Keep an eye on the excess required.
