Day 1 Feb 16th - Touchdown in Delhi! You've officially landed in Delhi. Get ready to be whisked away from the chaos of the airport to our cozy hotel for a well-deserved nap after your epic journey. But hey, don't get too comfy just yet – the real adventure is about to begin! Once you've settled and shaken off the jet lag, we'll regroup for a welcome dinner. Day 2, Feb 17th Get ready for an exciting journey through the amazing sights of Old and New Delhi! We'll start our adventure at the Jama Masjid mosque. Then we'll explore the bustling chaos of Chandni Chowk, where you can shop until you can't shop anymore and experience a rickshaw ride that will definitely make you question your life decisions. After that, we'll visit Raj Ghat, the peaceful resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, the legendary protester. Be amazed by the grandeur of India Gate! Check out the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the fancy residence of the President of India. And make sure to take a moment to appreciate the beauty of Humayun's Tomb – because nothing says true love like a tomb built by a wife for her husband. Day 3, Feb 18th, Today we drive to Agra. Once we get there, we'll check in at the hotel. Then, we can go on a sightseeing tour of Agra, visiting the impressive Agra Fort, a massive red sandstone fort built by the Mughal almost 500 years ago, located on the banks of the Yamuna River. We will then head to a cafe that is run by acid attack survivors for some lunch. We will also catch the sunset at the Taj Mahal, known as one of the most extravagant monuments of love in the world, built back in the mid-1600s by Shahjehan in memory of his wife Mumtaz. There will be an option for anyone who would like to hire a saree for the most beautiful pictures at the Taj Mahal. Overnight in Agra.

Day 4, Feb 19th. After breakfast, we will hop in the bus and head to Jaipur, making a stop at Fatehpur Sikri on the way - the abandoned capital of Emperor Akbar, located about 35 km from Agra. This historical site was constructed in the 16th century but was deserted just 12 years later because of water shortages. After exploring the area, we will keep driving towards Jaipur. Once we reach Jaipur, we will check in at the hotel for the night. Overnight in Jaipur

Day 5, Feb 20th. Let's start our this morning with a Wake Up with Jaipur Rickshaw Ride - Take a ride around Jaipur with a difference on this tour run by an innovative not-for-profit enterprise. Riding in an e-rickshaw with a friendly female driver, you’ll see the city as it awakes. Experience morning prayers at a Krishna temple, pass the colourful flower market and stop at a chaiwallah for a morning tea. Then a full-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur with a visit to the Amber Fort, just 11 kms away from the city. Amber used to be the old capital of Jaipur state. This fort is a fantastic example of Rajput architecture, perched beautifully on a hillside overlooking a lake. Next, we'll have a quick photo stop at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) with its lovely pink windows and intricate screens. We'll also check out the City Palace and Museum, where the former Royalty of Jaipur lived and now it's a Museum filled with art, carpets, and old weapons. To wrap up our tour, we'll visit the Jantar Mantar (observatory) built in 1728, which has some impressive instruments for measuring stars, planets, altitudes, and predicting eclipses. Day 6, Feb 21st.
So today we're leaving Jaipur and heading back to Delhi, a 265-kilometer journey that'll take us about 5 hours. It's gonna be cool to see the shift from Rajasthan's vibes to Delhi's bustling city scene. Once we're back in Delhi, we'll have some chill time in the afternoon before we go feast on a fancy tasting menu at a restored merchant's mansion. This place, Haveli Dharampura, is tucked away in an alley in Old Delhi and it's been beautifully done up. It's gonna be a great spot for our farewell dinner. We'll go up to the rooftop for a drink while watching the sun go down over the Red Fort and Jama Masjid, and then we'll dig into a delicious Indian tasting menu. Can't wait! Overnight in Delhi. Day 7, Feb 22nd. Today is the day to bid farewell, unless you decide to extend your stay for a few more days. Following breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.

Gratuities are not included. I suggest $3 to $5 /per person per day as tips for tour guide and 2 to 4 USD to the driver and about 1$ for hotel bellboys as a gratitude for their services.

The itinerary may be subject to small changes due to any unforeseen circumstances that may arise. All rooms on our trips are shared, with two people per room. We’ll match you with an adventure buddy, giving you the perfect chance to make new friends! To keep things fresh, you’ll switch roommates every couple of nights and connect with someone new.
If you are satisfied with the proposed itinerary and wish to proceed, a deposit of €500 will be necessary to confirm your reservation. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable for various reasons. By making the deposit, you are agreeing to these terms. The non-refundable nature of the deposit is essential due to the immediate planning and costs associated with securing your spot on the tour. This policy also helps ensure that all participants are fully committed to the trip.
The balance will be due 7 weeks before trip start date. (29th of Dec 2024) You can make the payments in instalments after the deposit is paid if that suits you.
With regards to getting a refund: The deposit is non-refundable. For the balance of your payment, I may be able to refund this up 10 weeks before the trip should you have already paid and have an emergency and need to cancel. Anything closer than 10 weeks, and I cannot refund you.
I suggest you take out fully comprehensive travel-insurance that covers trip cancellations, that way should something happen, you will get a full pay out from your insurance company. Keep an eye on the excess required.
