Sold out!!! I like to MOVE IT, MOVE IT….Madagascar itinerary August 9th to 19th 2023:
Day 1 - 9th - Arrive in Antananarivo and transfer to the hotel to get some rest and recuperate after your long flights and prepare for the adventure ahead. Overnight in Antananarivo.

Day 2 - 10th – Antananarivo – Morondava. Today we fly to Morondava (approx. flight time 1h15) Depending on flight arrival time, if possible in the afternoon /sunset time we will visit Kimony beach. Overnight in Morondava.

Day 3 - 11th – Morondava (Kirindy) This morning after breakfast, we will leave at 7:30am and driving directly to Kirindy reserve for a guided visit there. We can expect to see lots of lemurs, different types of birds and reptile species as well as the famous baobab trees. We will then visit the Famous Baobab Avenue for sunset, for some epic photos (we know the best spots). Sunset is so beautiful there, making it one of the best times to visit. Overnight in Morondava.

Day 4 - 12th – Morondava We are going to start our morning before sunrise and we are going to make our way to the Famous Baobab Avenue again for sunrise, to see it in different lighting! Both sunset and sunrise are spectacular here so we are doing both. After we will head back to Morondava, to chill and relax for the day before we go on a nocturnal visit to Kirindy in the evening time. Don't forget a head lamp to spot the lemurs. Overnight in Morondava.

Day 5 - 13th - Morondava – Antananarivo Today is a travel day so we will leave Morondava and fly back to Antananarivo (1h15) transfer to our hotel and chill by the pool, overnight stay in Antananarivo.

Day 6 - 14th – Today we have a full day in Antananarivo, so we will do a half day tour of the city, we will visit the Queen’s palace, then a city tour of the capital and in the afternoon we will do some shopping for souvenirs and get the chance to pick up some of Madagascars famous vanilla, coffee and chocolate and other Malagasy crafts, overnight stay in Antananarivo.

Day 7 - 15th – Antananarivo – Nosy Be Today we fly to the picturesque island of Nosy Be (1h30). Depending on arrival time hopefully we’ll get in some beach time and catch our first island sunset. Overnight stay in Nosy Be.

Day 8 - 16th – Nosy Be After breakfast, we are going to visit the picturesque island of Nosy Iranja, the 8th most beautiful island in the world. Google it!!!. Nosy Iranja Be and Nosy Iranja Kely are two separate islands but when the tide is low it creates a passage of sand aka sand bank which joins these islands together, this has made this island famous throughout the world. We will sail across, go swimming and snorkelling as well as a nice lunch on the island. Overnight stay in Nosy Be.

Day 9 - 17th – Nosy Be After breakfast at 8am we will depart for a half day guided visit to Lemuria Land conservation centre where you can have close encounters with lemurs and other animals. Also included is a short visit to the ylang-ylang flower distillery where perfume is made. In the afternoon we will visit Andilana beach. Overnight stay in Nosy Be.

Day 10 - 18th – Nosy Be Today is a full free day in Nosy Be. Optional activities such as quad biking, snorkelling, swimming, scuba diving and more can all be booked. So its up to you how you would like to spend your last day on the beautiful island of Nosy Be. We will have a group farewell dinner at sunset. Overnight stay in Nosy Be.

Day 11 - 19th : Nosy Be – Home Today it’s time to say goodbye to Madagascar, transfer to Nosy Be airport for your international flight home.

Total cost €2975 per person sharing
*Please note arrival airport is Antananarivo airport and departure airport is Nosy Be airport*
Included: Services of a professional tour guide/driver, airport transport, transfers, 10 nights’ accommodation, 10 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 3 internal flights, entrance fees to reserves, boat trip to Nosy Iranja, half day guided visit to Lemuria Land
NOT included: International flight to Antananarivo or departure international flight from Nosy Be, visa for entry €35, optional extras mentioned, travel insurance, meals not listed in the itinerary average cost per meal €3-€10, any required PCR tests, tips.
Food and drinks are inexpensive in Madagascar.
If you are happy with the itinerary and want to go ahead. A deposit of €650 will be required to secure your booking and book flights within 5 days of confirming a place.
The balance will be due 1st June 2023. (You can make the payments in instalments after the deposit is paid if that suits you)
***With regards to a refund: Your deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is required to book all 3 internal flights which are non-refundable or changeable. Also, to reserve accommodation, guide, transport, and reserves permits etc***
For the balance of your payment €2325, the tour company can refund this up 8 weeks before the trip should you have an emergency and need to cancel. Anything closer than 8 weeks, and we cannot refund you.
We suggest you take out comprehensive travel-insurance that covers trip cancellations, that way should something happen, you will get a full pay out from your insurance company. Keep an eye on the excess required.
