Review: Boutique Hoi An Resort, Hoi An, Vietnam

I stopped at the Boutique Hoi An Resort for 3 nights along my Vietnam journey, this resort is located only about a 10 minute drive from Hoi An by taxi or the resorts free shuttle bus. Thankfully this resort has not been affected by the severe erosion affecting resorts further south along the coast.

I stopped at the beautiful Boutique Hoi An Resort for 3 nights along my Vietnam journey, this resort is located only about a 10 minute drive from Hoi An by taxi or the resorts free shuttle bus. If your looking for a resort to relax and unwind this may be the place for you! Although drinks and food can tend to run on the pricey side (typical Irish prices). There is a beautiful spa located next to the pool area, which is reasonable (€60 for a facial and full body scrub and massage).

There isn’t much to do around the resort besides visit the private beach or stay at the pool, and drink (3 bars on site) which if you are like me and travelling north to south, sometimes a day of doing nothing with a few beers is much needed to just relax and chill out! But like I said the hotel has a shuttle bus into Hoi An and a taxi doesn’t cost to much either once you arrange your own (hotel prices are dearer). They are usually parked by the road!

There is also an amazing tailor situated in the lobby at the resort, Tuong tailors, if you are after a high quality suit, I would highly recommend them! I got a beautifully fitted suit jacket made within 24hours at approx cost of €100!

While this resort is more up market accommodation and rather expensive for Vietnam, it is also couple orientated, it’s not exactly the cheapest option but it was the perfect place to recuperate after all my travelling and some much need me time.

All tours I booked in Hoi An, collected me from the hotel lobby which also make it very convenient if you plan going on some day trips to My Son etc

The approx price per night is €100 for 2 people sharing! There is a buffet style breakfast included with something to suit everyone! If you are looking for somewhere to put your head down for the night this is not the place for you as there is much cheaper accommodation option available in Hoi An. I would recommend the resort if it is a spa/relaxation time you are looking for.
